Education Ticket Program
As the largest presenter of classical music and dance in San Diego County, we have the opportunity and obligation to open our doors to audiences who, for various reasons, might not otherwise be able to attend. Each year, hundreds of students are invited into the world of classical music and dance by attending La Jolla Music Society performances at no charge. The program supports partnerships with the Visual and Performing Arts Departments of both the San Diego Unified School District and San Diego County Office of Education, as well as with individual schools.
Community Engagement
La Jolla Music Society introduces thousands of San Diego children to classical music each year by bringing artists from our stages into the community. Artists on our Discovery Series each lead two full days of community engagement activities, including school assemblies, performances at senior living facilities and community centers, and master classes.
