Tango has a way of pulling you into its world.
One moment you’re swept away by its driving rhythms and fiery energy; the next, you’re captivated by its quiet intimacy and timeless beauty. The Art of Tango III invites you to experience the many faces of tango through music, dance, and stories that celebrate one of the world’s most expressive art forms.
The Camarada Tango Quartet is joined by acclaimed bandoneonist Pablo Jaurena, renowned tango historian Ignacio Varchausky, and celebrated dancers Carolina Jaurena and Guillermo Merlo for an evening that spans tango’s rich history and vibrant future. From the music of legendary masters—including Pedro Maffia, Eduardo Rovira, Julián Plaza, and Astor Piazzolla—to a new commission and original works by Andrés Martín, each performance reveals another chapter in tango’s remarkable journey.
More than a concert, The Art of Tango III is an invitation to experience tango with all your senses. Through live music, dance, and storytelling, you’ll discover why this extraordinary art form continues to inspire audiences around the world. Some music is heard. Tango is felt.
