“A moment of grace and meditation” – Rolling Stone
Following acclaimed appearances at Lincoln Center and the Philharmonie de Paris, The Naghash Ensemble makes its highly anticipated debut at The Conrad.
Arrive curious, leave amazed. The ensemble’s ethereal sound will captivate vocal, global, and early music lovers alike. Swaying rhythms and infectious beats bring a contemporary pulse to original music composed for traditional instruments rooted in ancient Middle Eastern and Persian traditions. Paired with lyrics from medieval Armenia, the result is an unforgettable musical journey that feels both ancient and strikingly modern.
Critics around the globe have praised the ensemble’s sound as “stunning” and “deeply moving.” Experience it live and discover why audiences have responded with “a thunderous standing ovation,” according to the Armenian Mirror-Spectator.
