SummerFest Tour of MCASD

RSVP and Ticket Required.
No cost for museum admission and tour.
Lunch and concert tickets must be purchased separately.

Have you ever wondered about the beautiful artwork featured throughout SummerFest? For years, The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) has generously opened its collection and archives to help La Jolla Music Society create the festival’s signature poster. This year, you’re invited to celebrate this special partnership!

On Sunday, August 2, at 12 PM, a MCASD curator will lead a free guided tour of the critically acclaimed GIANTS: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys and the accompanying Hometown Heroes exhibition. The tour concludes with an exclusive viewing of SummerFest’s 40th Anniversary featured artwork, Untitled (1999) by Richard Allen Morris.

Make it a perfect afternoon in La Jolla—explore the museum, enjoy lunch at The Kitchen, and cap off the day with the SummerFest matinee performance What If? at The Conrad at 3 PM.
