Three hundred years after publication, Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” remains as popular as ever. This program frames these iconic works in a new light, inviting questions about the fleeting, cyclical nature of our existence, our relationship with nature, and the eternal renewal of earth’s cycles. Selections from Monteverdi, Uccellini and Geminiani pair with Vivaldi’s iconic work in this stirring concert.
