Resident Companies @ The Conrad

A New Era of Classical Collaboration
La Jolla Music Society is proud to launch its new Resident Companies @ The Conrad program, welcoming four of San Diego’s leading classical music organizations into an inaugural three-year residency beginning in the 2025–26 Winter Season. This collaboration celebrates the strength and vibrancy of San Diego’s arts scene—uniting distinctive voices that will not only enliven our stage, but champion and sustain classical music for generations to come.

The first Resident Companies @ The Conrad are Art of Elan, Bach Collegium San Diego, Camarada, and Mainly Mozart—each celebrated for their distinctive artistic voices and significant contributions to San Diego’s cultural landscape, particularly in the areas of chamber and classical music.
This initiative was developed by LJMS Artistic Director Leah Rosenthal and Director of Artistic Rentals and Partnerships Juliet Zimmer as part of an effort to realign The Conrad’s rental program with one of the organization’s key goals: establishing The Conrad as a vibrant cultural and community hub. In addition to supporting that vision, the program provides meaningful opportunities for partner organizations to present their own work in a world-class performance venue.
In support of the Resident Companies @ The Conrad program, La Jolla Music Society will provide a range of benefits to its partner organizations, including marketing support, early access to the booking calendar, and a fixed venue rental rate for the duration of the three-year partnership.
