Frequently hailed as one of the most influential saxophonists of his generation, Mark Turner rounds out this inspired exploration of the unknown.

The three-time GRAMMY®-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra is one of the finest music ensembles around. Salsa Navidad is a show dedicated to classic Latino/Spanish music as well as select American Christmas classics done in a Latin/Salsa style. Part of the show features the Puerto Rican Christmas style known as “Aguinaldo,” which reflects the spirit and cultural essence of the Caribbean.

Joe Lovano and virtuoso guitarist Julian Lage have enjoyed a long journey of mutual artistic admiration. They are joined by longtime Lovano collaborator Santi Debriano on bass and drummer Will Calhoun (of Living Colour fame). The Paramount Quartet promises a evening of exquisite jazz stylings.

A Silent Film with Live Musical Performance by WYNTON MARSALIS and CECILE LICAD

In this very special evening, jazz icon Wynton Marsalis joins renowned pianist Cecile Licad and a 10-piece all-star jazz ensemble to perform a score comprised primarily of Marsalis’ own compositions to accompany the film Louis.
This silent film from 2010 is an homage to Louis Armstrong, Charlie Chaplin, and the birth of American music, directed by Dan Pritzker and starring Jackie Earle Haley, Shanti Lowry, and Anthony Coleman.
Shot by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond as a modern re-imagining of early silent film, Louis with live accompaniment is an experience in the theatre you won’t soon forget.
