Join us for a free concert celebrating the intersection of two most universally beloved art forms: film and music. Educational and interactive for children, teens, and adults, this performance brings classical music and jazz to you via films that we love and composers who influenced Hollywood and who were, in turn, influenced by it. Jacopo and Konstantin will introduce each selection and perform the music from some familiar movies that used music composed or influenced by Rachmaninoff, Zimmer, Kapustin, and Nazaykinskaya. Expect fun surprises! We hope the performance will not only be enjoyable, but also spark your love of learning and sense of curiosity. You will have a chance to ask questions at the end of the program. This is a community event sponsored by ProtoStar Foundation.
