Fellowship Artist Spotlight II

 

Acclaimed for his stellar stage presence and joyous musicianship, cellist Sterling Elliott is a 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient who has appeared with major orchestras around the world. He joins Chi-Yuan Chen, a celebrated violist of the San Diego Symphony, and Max Tan and Julia Lee of trioJEM for the second Fellowship Artist Spotlight performance of Arensky’s String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor, Opus 35.

 

This free afternoon concert also includes a solo performance by trioJEM’s Elliot Wuu of Allegro agitato from Rachmaninoff’s Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat Minor, Opus 36. Quartet Integra will be performing Mozart’s String Quartet in B Flat Major, K. 458 “The Hunt” and Donatoni’s La souris sans sourire.
