Concordia Choirs at The Conrad
Concordia University Irvine’s choral program, led by Dr. Michael Busch, presents a choir concert in The Baker Baum Concert Hall at The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla on Monday, February 28 at 7 PM. The Concordia Choir, Donne di Canto, and Men’s Chorus of Concordia combine with the choirs of St. Pauls’s Pacific Beach for an evening of classical and contemporary choir repertoire. Join us to hear incredible choir music in one of the finest acoustic venues in Southern California.
Repertoire includes works by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Whitacre, Rachmaninoff, and more!

Under the direction of Dr. Michael Busch, this 52-voice ensemble is the premiere touring choir at Concordia University Irvine. They are recognized for their excellence in performance along with their compelling and diverse selection of sacred music. This talented choir was recently featured on the PBS Christmas Special Repeat the Sounding Joy, broadcast across the United States.

Known for its seamless, expressive tone and engaging programming, Concordia University’s select women’s choir inspires audiences at the annual Fall Choral Concert, Christmas Concerts, Valentine’s Concert, and Spring Choral Concert. The choir has touched audiences in recent annual tours to Hawaii, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, and Austria.

The Concordia Men’s Chorus is an energized group of men who love to sing and perform distinctive music for men’s voices. Through the rehearsal of sacred and secular music representing a broad range of styles, singers strive for a high standard of vocal excellence. Performances include fall and spring concerts, Christmas performances, the popular Valentine’s Concert, and annual tours.
