Death and the Maiden

Art of Elan returns to The Conrad with a performance that features the epic “Death and the Maiden” string quartet by Franz Schubert. This powerful program intentionally sets the 200 year-old work in an intimate, contemporary cabaret space where listeners are asked to bring fresh ears to the experience. A complimentary pre-concert talk in the Wu Tsai Courtyard attempts to further demystify this poignant work, as well as a post-concert Q & A with the performing artists.
