Zoltán Fejérvári

Hungarian pianist Zoltán Fejérvári is a “deeply communicative artist” and winner of the 2017 Concours Musical International de Montréal. A recipient of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Liszt Academy, and Gasteig. His orchestral collaborations include the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic, and San Antonio Symphony, working under conductors such as Iván Fischer and Zoltán Kocsis. Mentored by Sir András Schiff, Fejérvári was selected for the “Building Bridges” series and has appeared at the Marlboro Music Festival at the invitation of Mitsuko Uchida. As a chamber musician, he has collaborated with Steven Isserlis, Gary Hoffman, and the Elias Quartet. His discography includes the Grand Prix du Disque-winning recording of Liszt’s Malédiction. His solo debut, Janáček (2019), was hailed by Gramophone as “deeply probative,” followed by a critically acclaimed Schumann album in 2020. Fejérvári’s repertoire spans five centuries, encompassing solo recitals, chamber music, and concerti by Bach, Bartók, and Beethoven.
