Randall Goosby
American violinist Randall Goosby is acclaimed for his sensitive musicianship and commitment to making classical music inclusive. Signed exclusively to Decca Classics, his discography includes Roots, a celebration of African-American music, and a concerto album featuring works by Max Bruch and Florence Price with the Philadelphia Orchestra. A former student of Itzhak Perlman, Goosby became the youngest First Prize winner of the Sphinx Competition at age thirteen. His 2025–26 season features debuts with the Atlanta and San Diego Symphonies and the Orchestre National de France, following previous engagements with the Chicago Symphony and London Philharmonic. In 2025, he joined the Juilliard School Pre-College faculty. Goosby’s honors include the 2024 Harmony for Change Award and a residency as the Cincinnati Symphony’s MAC Music Innovator. Deeply passionate about outreach, he collaborates with the Iris Collective and Opportunity Music Project. He performs on the 1708 “ex-Strauss” Stradivarius. Goosby holds multiple degrees from Juilliard and is a member of the Konzerthaus Dortmund “Junge Wilde” series.
