Jay Campbell

Cellist Jay Campbell has been praised by the New York Times for his “electrifying performances.” Campbell holds the distinction of being the only artist ever to receive two Avery Fisher Career Grants— as a soloist and again as a member of the JACK Quartet. In the 2019–20 season Campbell served as co-curator of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Green Umbrella series opener with composer John Adams. He also performs with Stefan Jackiw and Conrd Tao as part of Junction Trio.
