Blake Pouliot
Winner of the Grand Prize at the 2016 Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal Competition, Blake Pouliot’s 2025–26 highlights include debuts at the Berlin Philharmonie with Matthias Pintscher and the Kansas City Symphony on their European tour, a US tour with the Prague Philharmonic culminating in a performance at Carnegie Hall’s Stern auditorium, the Cincinnati Symphony and James Conlon, the Bravo! Vail festival with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and conductor Matthias Pintscher and cellist Alisa Weilerstein, the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, San Diego Symphony and Rafael Payare, as well as return performances at the Aspen Music Festival with Matthias Pintscher, the San Francisco Symphony with Stephanie Childress and the National Arts Center Orchestra with Alexander Shelley. Pouliot expands his presence in Europe and abroad this season with performances with the London Philharmonic, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Philharmonic, and the Cape Town Symphony. As a chamber musician, Pouliot performs at the Spoleto USA festival, Cleveland Chamberfest, and Toronto Summer Music. He has performed with many musical luminaries including conductors Sir Neville Marriner, Pablo Heras-Casado, Vasily Petrenko, Thomas Søndergård, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Pouliot performs on the 1728 “Thunis” Stradivarius on generous loan from an anonymous donor.
